For more than 30 years, Creative Matters’ talented and inspired designers have been working with interior designers and architects to create exceptional floor and wallcoverings for luxury hotels, boutique retailers, stylish offices, elegant homes and diplomatic missions around the world.
This extensive experience has enabled us to nurture a roster of the finest artisans - those uniquely capable of realizing the highest quality creations for our clients. From handknotted rugs in Nepal to custom printed carpets in Denmark to felted wallcoverings in China, we assign our designs only to the few who have truly mastered the technique.
We are proud to work with many of the most highly-regarded design companies in the world, including Yabu Pushelberg, Studio Sofield, HOK, Karim Rashid, Gensler and many others on projects such as: Park Hyatt New York; Aga Khan Museum in Toronto; Louis Vuitton in Paris and Hong Kong; Soho Grand Hotel in New York; Gucci in over 50 locations; St. Regis Hotel in San Francisco and Mexico City. With a long-standing commitment to ethical and sustainable manufacturing, we are proud to be a licensee of the Swiss based Label STEP, an international non-profit organization committed to promoting environmentally friendly production methods, improving the working and living conditions of carpet weavers, and fighting child labour. Prior to this, we worked with GoodWeave (a non-governmental organization based in the U.S.) to ensure no child labour was involved in the creation of our carpets.
