As Canada's second tallest building, Scotia Plaza has a lot of corridors to carpet in its ongoing revitalization, so printed nylon was a good fit for both budget and durability. The challenge was to meet the opulence of the polished black granite border within the red napoleon granite floor. The solution was a design that creates the visual appearance of texture. Striking in its asymmetry, distressed medallions and a graphic ombré effect play on high contrast black and white.
